Bladderfish

A passive fish with an inflatable bladder. Essential for early-game water production before you build a water filtration machine.

Drops: Filtered Water
Threat: None. Extremely passive.

💡 Survival Tip

Catch with bare hands. Each bladderfish can be crafted into filtered water.

Neutral

Stalker

A long, serpentine predator that patrols Kelp Forests. While not immediately hostile, it will attack if provoked or if you get too close.

Drops: Stalker Teeth
Threat: Moderate. Bites deal significant damage but usually retreat after one attack.

💡 Survival Tip

Drop metal salvage near them — they sometimes drop Stalker Teeth while chewing on it.

Hostile

Sand Shark

A burrowing shark that hides in sandy terrain and ambushes prey. Found in open sand areas and dunes.

Threat: High. Fast ambush attacks from below can surprise new players.

Stay near rocky outcrops. It cannot burrow through hard surfaces.

Boneshark

A heavily armored shark with a bony exoskeleton. Aggressive and territorial in deeper reef zones.

Drops: Raw Meat
Threat: High. Armored body reduces damage from smaller weapons.

💡 Survival Tip

Use the Repulsion Cannon or perimeter defense to keep them at range.

Leviathan

Reaper Leviathan

A massive, apex predator with huge mandibles. The Reaper Leviathan is one of the most dangerous creatures in the game and patrols open waters near the Crash Zone and Dunes.

Depth: 0-500m
Drops:
Threat: Extreme. Can destroy small vehicles and insta-kill players on foot.

💡 Survival Tip

Avoid its patrol zones until you have a Seamoth with Perimeter Defense or a Prawn Suit. Stay deep or hug terrain.
